SPX Preview Day 2: Becky and Frank’s Capture Creatures!
This weekend, TopatoCo is coming to the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD! Every day this week, we’re previewing some things you’ll be able to see and buy from our talented and good-looking artists.
Becky and Frank will be with us, debuting their Capture Creatures book!
Capture Creatures is an almost two year-long illustration project. Becky and Frank invented and illustrated 151 unique creatures, including their evolutionary stages. The entire project is hand-painted, much like the original 151 Pokemon paintings by designer Ken Sugimori. With the project wrapping up, they are now debuting the 300+ page Capture Creatures book in two hardcover formats (deluxe 3 piece cloth hardcover with ribbon bookmark and regular acrylic canvas hardcover) at SPX!!
